Key Account Manager Ruminants (f|m|x)

Phytobiotics is a global leader in the development and supply of innovative feed additives including botanical ingredients, Organic Trace Minerals, sweetener, flavours and bovine colostrum. In the context of our development in China, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (Ruminants).

We are located at Jiangsu Jintan Sino-German innovation park, Changzhou, Jiangsu, China.
Home base/Remote work is acceptable.

Main responsibilities

Sales

  • Develop key accounts and support distributors to achieve sales targets.
  • Determine customer needs & consolidate deliverables to enhance the business.
  • Provide forecasts for the market based on demand.
  • Participation in professional and scientific organizations, industry conferences, and training.
  • Meet and liaise with clients and share client reports with management. 

Business Development
  • Manage business development and customer management in China to assist in the acquisition of key accounts as well as distributors and the growth of the business.
  • Source, contact and build relationships with target key accounts.
  • Propose and implement approved local marketing and business development plans.
  • Prepare client visits.

Requirements
  • Degree in Animal Science/Animal Nutrition for ruminants, at least ten  years sales experience for ruminant business.
  • Sales track record and ideally selling functional/value added feed additives.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with key accounts and distributors at the highest level.
  • Ability to co-ordinate visits and support for key accounts and distributors.
  • Strong presentation skills in front of small and large audience.
